Great Blue Heron is a flowy eldritch homage to one of my favorite bird/dinosaur/dragons. I can’t really overstate how pleased I am with the color and structure of this piece. Designed, in part, to minimize the waste from each sheet of plywood, the piece looks pretty magnificent paired with its twin.

Each piece is signed and numbered on the back.
This piece comes pre-installed with a cleat on the back and does not require additional framing to hang up. Most standard walls can handle the weight of this artwork, please feel free to ask any questions about installation.

Great Blue Heron will be shipped in a custom made wood crate.
If you are within 50 miles of the California Bay Area, I offer personal delivery and installation.
Shipping will be calculated and billed separately for each order, in addition to the base cost of this piece.

These works contain some experiments with bright, colorful, water-based wood dyes, and so it’s extra important to keep these works away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

If the mail carrier has a bad day, or you drop the piece after you open it, or for any other reason the work is damaged, I consider all my work to have a no-limit, free-repair warranty. If you ship any piece back to me with return postage, I will do everything I can to fix the damage.**

I endeavor to make my work as robust as possible, but the designs are still delicate and need to be handled with care. As for most artwork, best practice is to keep these pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight or excessively humid environments.
